About this product

Bourbon Rosado or, Pink Bourbon is a rare cultivated hybrid of the more common Red and Yellow Bourbon Varietals. It is considered a recessive genetic variety that needs to be farmed carefully in isolated lots so that it doesn’t cross-pollinate with the more dominant Bourbon varieties.
Pink Bourbon coffee takes its name from the beautiful pink colour of the ripe coffee cherries. This variety is usually more resistant to leaf rust and has a high yield of cherries.
Huila is found in the Southern central area of Colombia, where the Central and Eastern Andes meet. Huila’s coffee farms are predominantly small holder owned, and over the past ten years have made consorted efforts to focus on producing specialty coffee that reflects the full potential of the region.
